Launch of the Office of Research Services - Canadian University of Dubai

Dear CUD Community,

We invite you to the launch of the Office of Research Services (ORS), a new initiative developed by CUD, consisting of two new Research Centers of Excellence.

Both the Web Technologies Research Center and the Computer Vision & Speech Processing Research Center will be creating a platform for you, our students, to engage in research activities that not only have a direct impact on the UAE economy, but will also allow you to gain a deeper understanding of your education. This initiative is in collaboration with partnered research laboratories from Canada (University of British Columbia, Lakehead University, University of Windsor, University of Regina and the University of Western Ontario) and will encourage excellence in discipline-based research nationally, regionally and internationally.
