Residence Services offer CUD students a clean, safe, and economical living option in Dubai, allowing them to live together in a unique multi-cultural environment conducive to academic success, personal growth, and social development.

Residence Services currently house undergraduate, graduate, and students studying English in separate areas for males and females – overseen by live-in Residence Officer.

The Residence is located in Discovery Garden (approximately 25 minutes by bus from the campus).  Flats at the Residence consist of either 1-bedroom or studios. Each room is furnished and has a private bathroom.

Since availability is limited, early registration is required to secure accommodation in the University Residence. Private and family accommodations are not available.

Included in the fees are the following:

• Bed & mattress, desk & chair, wardrobe
• Kitchens equipped with appliances such as stove, refrigerator, microwave, water cooler
• Transportation to/from CUD campus scheduled several times a day including evenings classes
• Residence Officer providing on-site supervision
• A community lifestyle encouraging participation in formal and informal social and sporting activities.

Some items are not provided in the Residence; students should make arrangements to bring the following items or purchase them in Dubai:

• Laptop computer
• Towels
• Plates, cups, utensils, pots/pans, cooking utensils
• Bedside lamp, electrical adaptors and extension cords
• Laundry soap, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, deodorant, toothpaste, and other such personal toiletry items.

Students are also required to purchase their own groceries and prepare their own meals, or order meals from nearby restaurants.

Nearby facilities

The Ibn Battuta Shopping Mall, which houses over 200 shops (including a hypermarket, cinemas and amusement arcades, money exchanges, banking services, restaurants, cafes and food courts) is within a short walking distance from CUD Residence.
