Canadian University of Dubai (CUD) campus consists of four buildings, Block A where the Administration Offices are located, Blocks B, C, and D where classrooms, laboratories, Library and faculty offices are located.

Amphitheater and MBA Rooms

The CUD Amphitheater is a state-of-the-art facility with comfortable seats for a capacity of 200 people.  It is suitable as a lecture hall, for musical events, and conferences.  The stage is very large and is suitable for academic or extracurricular activities.

The four MBA rooms are located on the second floor of Block D and are ideal for receptions or as conference rooms. Each can accommodate approximately 25 people seated in a U-shaped formation. You can book the amphitheater and MBA rooms by contacting the Physical Resource Manager at 04-709-6212

Cafeterias and Study Areas

CUD has two cafeterias, one located in Block B and one located in Block D. The two cafeterias provide a coeducational, multicultural, multinational social environment and students have a choice among several foods. The cafeteria areas are the main gathering place for students between classes and during their free time. There is wireless internet access in these areas.  There are also vending machines located throughout the CUD campus.

Classroom Facilities

CUD has 35 classrooms in Blocks B, C and D. All of our classrooms and studios are fully furnished with comfortable study desks and chairs.  Data projectors and other technology enable faculty members and students to enhance the learning process with digital and online content. Wireless network access is available in all classroom areas and other common areas on campus.

Laboratory Facilities

The School of Engineering, Applied Science & Technology has 8 laboratories and workshops.

The School of Environment and Health has 4 laboratories: 2 are health laboratories and 2 are chemistry laboratories. All laboratories are equipped with standard chemical instrumentation, including balances, centrifuges, pH-meters, spectrophotometers, rapid kinetic apparatus, and electrochemical and chromatographic equipment.

The School of Architecture & Interior Design has 4 Design Studios.

All equipment, instruments, laboratories and studios are accessible and used exclusively by the students.

Library

The Library is located on the second floor of Block C (C1-10).  Please see the Library Page for more details. 

Prayer Rooms

There are two beautiful prayer rooms located on the third floor of Block D.  This allows both male and female students the opportunity to participate in daily prayer.

Parking Facilities

Paid Parking lots are provided for faculty, staff and students. Vehicles must be registered with the Physical Resource Department, and faculty, staff and students must display a valid CUD parking sticker on the windshield. These permits are issued once the vehicle is registered with CUD.

Sport Facilities

CUD sport facilities are available for the benefit of the entire CUD community. These Sports facilities foster the continuing development of collegiate sports in the UAE through organizing and hosting athletic championships, symposia and training courses. Staff and faculty members are entitled to free participation, regardless of their abilities, in a variety of sports and leisure activities including indoor football, basketball, handball, volleyball, table tennis, tennis, and other athletic pursuits.

The Office of Student Activities believes students should have ongoing opportunities to develop their talents through a wide variety of sports. To achieve this goal, full-time trainers are available to help students develop team play, sportsmanship and healthy lifestyles.
